When is the best time to visit Mozambique?
Mozambique experiences the least chance of rain during the winter months – May to November. December to April you will find a high chance of rain, although it’s usually of the downpour type, with the sun coming out again soon after.
Southern Mozambique experiences cyclones in January and February, so if you’re after a beach holiday, it’s best to avoid booking a trip for this time.
Game viewing in one of Mozambique’s parks is best during the dry season – August and September.
